Qingshan district to develop smart park

Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park is to develop into a smart park -- equipped with the latest cutting-edge technology – following an agreement signed with China Mobile Communications Group Inner Mongolia Co’s Baotou Branch on April 17, reports the Baotou Daily.

According to the agreement, the park will build a wired and wireless integrated smart private network to achieve full-regional and seamless broadband access, and pilot  5G and narrowband networks to pave the way for a green and high-performance optical communications network.

Officials said construction work on the two data center computer rooms in the north and south area of the park will be completed within one year.

Complete coverage of the campus wired and wireless networks will be achieved within three years, they added.
