Shenzhen Longgang Central Hospital

Founded in 1952, Shenzhen Longgang Central Hospital integrates first-aid, medical, teaching, scientific research, and rehabilitation. Situated in Longgang district, Shenzhen, it is currently the largest comprehensive hospital in the eastern part of the city. 

The hospital covers 103,500 square meters, with a construction area of 148,800 sq m. The hospital has 900 open beds. In 2017, the hospital treated about 2.66 million emergency cases and had 37,067 inpatients. 

The hospital has 2,129 employees, 33 clinical departments, nine medical technology departments, two research institutes and 16 social health centers. It also has one provincial specialty, two municipal key specialties, and three key specialties of 3A-grade hospital standard. 

At present, the hospital has 2,203 units of equipment worth more than 10,000 yuan ($1,490), valued at 50.195 million yuan, of which 90 units are worth more than 1 million yuan. 

The hospital plans to build a new treatment center in 2019, with an investment of 1.07 billion yuan. It will cover 12,600 sq m with a construction area of 141,000 sq m. The center will have more than 900 open beds.
