Authentic Taiwan cuisines and traditional culture were promoted in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on April 13, attracting 18 enterprises from Guangxi and Taiwan to showcase their diverse culinary cultures, as well as promote cross-Straits exchanges.
Highlighting the characteristics of "Guangxi customs, Taiwan elements, and cultural creativity," the food and culture festival provided visitors a chance to have a taste of delicate Taiwan foods, including abalone rolls, handmade flavor paste, and egg-yolk puffs. Guangxi snacks, like Guilin rice noodles and five-color glutinous rice, were well-received by Taiwan guests. Nearly 1,000 Taiwan ethnic people from Hualien, Yilan, Taitung, and Miaoli also took part in the Sanyuesan celebrations this year.
