Baotou Airport sees surge in passenger numbers

Baotou Airport's total number of passengers witnessed rapid growth to reach 15,185 during the three-day Qingming Festival on April 5-7, witnessing a year-on-year growth of 21.8 percent, reports the Baotou Daily.

The airport operated 150 flights during the holiday period, representing a year-on-year growth of 25 percent.

The most popular destinations of the flights – including Beijing, Shijiazhuang in Hebei province, and Zhengzhou in Henan province -- maintained the highest seat occupancy rate.
