A delegation led by Wang Youliang, deputy principal of Baotou Teachers’ College, visited Zhaoqing University in Zhaoqing, in southern Guangdong province, according to an April 17 report.
The delegation exchanged views on the professional certification of teachers with officials and staff members of Zhaoqing University.
Established in 1958, Baotou Teachers’ College has developed after more than 60 years growth into a thriving university concentrating on undergraduate education, promoting the coordinated development of postgraduate education and continuing education, and integrating vocational training.
At present, the college consists of 16 secondary schools, four supporting departments for teaching and research, as well as 14 departments focusing on various disciplines.
It now offers three master degree programs in second-level disciplines, two professional master degree programs, and 46 undergraduate programs with an enrollment of 13,665 undergraduates and graduate students.
