A press conference for the second China Horse Culture Festival and the first Inner Mongolia International Horse Culture Expo was held in Beijing on April 17.
Sponsored by the China Horse Industry Association (CHIA) and local authorities in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the event will run from June 15 to September.
According to the event’s press conference, its main venue will be in Hohhot and a sub venue will be in Xiliin Gol League. Other cities and leagues will hold themed activities to create enthusiasm for Mongolian horses.
The event will consist of opening and closing ceremonies, forums, lectures, performances, exhibitions, an art collection, communication platforms, and themed activities.
At the press conference, Inner Mongolian authorities discussed horse racing, an art activity themed around Mongolian horses, books about horse culture and spirit, and a competition to design a Mongolian yurt, all of which will be held during the competition.
