Preparations underway for the Sino-German industrial innovation committee

In order to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry, China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang and Sino-German Hi-Tech Park in Heidelberg recently signed an agreement, aiming to integrate Germany's industrial resource to formally establish the Sino-German industrial 4.0 innovation committee in June this year.

The first preparatory meeting of the committee was recently held in Berlin, Germany, with the main direction and goal, cooperation mode and contents preliminarily determined. 

The innovation committee will focus on the development of intelligent manufacturing, integrating the resources of German scientific research institutions and enterprises, to promote the integration of Chinese and German industries. At the same time, it will also actively introduce advanced German 4.0 enterprises and scientific research achievements, as well as German education mode, and assist Shenyang's enterprises to enter in Sino-German Hi-Tech Park in Heidelberg to conduct further research and development.

Besides, the committee will also conduct regular thematic exchange activities, and build platforms for cooperation in various fields of education, science and technology, as well as industry. Furthermore, the two sides will jointly build an auto parts industrial park and set up a special investment fund for the auto industry.
