The government of Dalad Banner in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, signed three partnership deals involving total investment of 13.3 billion yuan ($1.98 billion), at the 2019 China Market Summit on Methyl Alcohol and Polyolefin, in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, on April 11.
The summit also served as an industrial promotion conference for Ordos in the Yangtze River Delta. Yu Renjie, vice-mayor of Ordos, attended the conference.
The three deals touch on the production of aluminum and magnesium, the establishment of a clean energy institute, a business incubator and an industrial park, as well as the production of organo-silicon polymer.
