The 2019 Self-driving Global Challenge hosted by the China International Big Data Industry Expo began to accept registration on April 11. The finals of the challenge will be held during the Big Data Expo this May in Guizhou Science City, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The competition will have two challenges for full-sized self-driving cars and DIY Robocars Donkey Car that will attract self-driving enthusiasts from all over the world to join the onsite challenge.
Participants will use their self-driving software and deep learning algorithms on the standard hardware platform provided by the challenge. Bonus and industrial policy support will be offered for the winners.
The challenge is looking forward to the participation of the best self-driving developers to integrate AI with traditional vehicles and innovate in self-driving technologies.
