Advanced tech displayed at Hangzhou intelligent security expo

The latest products and public security equipment from hi-tech companies across the country were on display at the 10th China (Hangzhou) International Public Safety Products and Technology Expo and Hangzhou Intelligent Security Conference in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from April 11 to 13.

To shed light on the achievements that Hangzhou has made in intelligent policing over the years, the three-day event highlighted the application of technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, internet of things, facial recognition, and 5G.

Major industry players such as Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology, Uniview, Gosuncn Technology Group Co, and Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co made appearances at the event.

Wang Jian, chief technology officer of Alibaba Group and president of Alibaba Cloud Computing, addressed the opening ceremony and mapped out a blueprint for the highly anticipated "City Brain" solution in urban governance.

Aside from the exhibition, an array of forums on public security were also held on the sidelines of the event.

The exhibition has been held in Hangzhou every April since 2007.
