A launch ceremony marking the start of Sino-Mongolian joint interviews was held in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on April 12.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia.
Sponsored by the Information Office of the Inner Mongolia People's Government and Mongolia's Journalists Association, over 30 journalists from China and Mongolia will conduct interviews throughout Inner Mongolia and Yan'an, Shaanxi province focusing on development and cooperation achievements since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries 70 years ago.
According to local authorities, the interviews will be held from April 12-18. They are expected to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Mongolian media, establish a multi-level cooperation mechanism, and create more cooperation opportunities.
