Xiashan Customs of Zhanjiang Customs has been striving to cut customs clearance costs, as well as improve clearance efficiency and service quality to help local enterprises enhance their market competitiveness, while also adding momentum to the development of the city's heavy chemical industry.

In the first quarter of this year, the customs handled a total of 44 batches of shipside inspection and out-of-area supervision, involving the main cargo that included equipment, soybeans, and wood chips, weighing more than 2.21 million tons.
Xiashan Port, which is under the jurisdiction of Zhanjiang Customs, is the main channel for the import of materials, equipment, and raw materials for large enterprises such as Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel, Zhongke Refinery, and Chenming Paper.
Xiashan Customs has been actively promoting the online processing of administrative examination and approval, exploring new supervision modes of shipside inspection, and issuing customs service manuals to support enterprises in using the customs preferential policies.
