Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Hospital

Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Hospital, established in 1936, is affiliated to Nanjing Medical University. It was the first 3A-grade maternity and children’s hospital established in Jiangsu province. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services for patients in Nanjing and the areas surrounding the city.

Located in downtown Nanjing, the hospital covers a total area of 20,200 square meters and has a total construction area of 105,700 sq m.

At present, the hospital has 1,000 beds and employs 1,691 staff members –– 336 of whom hold senior titles, with 400 holding a master’s degree, 73 holding a doctorate and 82 working as PhD supervisors.

The hospital has six key clinical specialties at provincial level –– obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, neonatology, gynecology, anesthesiology and traditional Chinese medicine.
