Building expo underway in Changchun

The 24th Changchun Building Decoration and Materials Exposition opened at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center in Changchun, the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, on April 10.

Covering an exhibition area of 90,000 square meters, the expo attracted around 2,000 exhibitors looking to showcase their latest products and technology related to building decorations, fire control, energy-saving systems, and electric heating. It is the largest building material event in Northeast China.

Environmentally-friendly building materials and smart home systems are taking center stage at the event, as are drones used for firefighting and building security.

Another seven exhibitions, including the 15th Furniture and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition, the 16th Public Safety Products Exhibition, and the 16th Firefighting Products Exhibition, will also be held alongside the building expo, which ends on April 12.
