Three companies recently established a Sino-South Korea joint venture in North China's energy base – Shanxi province.
With an investment of 20 million yuan ($2.97 million), the joint venture called Shanxi Jinhanjie Environmental Protection Technology Co, is funded by Shanxi coal giant Yangquan Coal Industry Group, Beijing CECN Mediator Kane Environmental Protection Technology Co and J-E Tech Co from South Korea.
Shanxi Jinhanjie Environmental Protection Technology will focus on introducing de-dusting technologies from the South Korean company and manufacturing industrial de-dusting equipment.
The production base is sited in the Yangquan Bonded Logistics Center in order to benefit from its preferential policies. Training of personnel was undertaken to facilitate the operations of the joint venture.
Yangquan Coal Industry Group will also cooperate with J-E Tech on emission equipment upgrades and treatment of sewage and exhaust from heavy-duty diesel trucks.
