Sci-tech park eyes smart manufacturing equipment development

Nanping Sci-tech Industrial Park hosted this year's first Party Secretary Council Meeting on April 3, in which executives from 24 enterprises discussed the development of the smart manufacturing equipment industry.

Representatives from in-house enterprises, including Zhuhai Gree Smart Equipment and FACC, introduced their products via PowerPoint presentations and videos, while also conducting in-depth exchanges on the current status of the smart manufacturing equipment industry and the difficulties they encounter with other attendees.

Smart manufacturing equipment is a pillar industry of Nanping Sci-tech Industrial Park. The park's Party committee will play an importance role in bridging upstream and downstream enterprises, as well as spurring further development of the industry, said Huang Wenzhong, Party secretary of the industrial park.

To achieve that, the Nanping Sci-tech Industrial Park Administrative Committee has recently formulated a series of promotional measures, which were interpreted by Zhai Lei, director of the local economic development bureau, at the meeting.
