Hohhot adds air routes to Lhasa

Hohhot International Baita Airport recently announced that it will open flights from Hohhot to Lhasa in the Tibet autonomous region to meet public demands.

The air route is scheduled to be launched on April 15. It will be the first flight to connect Inner Mongolia with Lhasa.

The flight, which can carry 120 passengers, will be operated on a daily basis by Eastern Airlines.

It will depart from Hohhot Baita International Airport at 7:45 am, and will arrive at Lhasa at 2:40 pm. The journey takes around seven hours.

The return flight will take off from Lhasa at 3:30 pm on the same day and arrive in Hohhot at 10:15 pm.
