According to local authorities, the first bonded logistics center in mid-western Inner Mongolia has been approved and has set up operations in Bayannuur.
The Bayannuur Bonded Logistics Center (Type-B) provides services related to international logistics, imports and exports, cross-border e-commerce, and more.
The logistics center will export agricultural products and daily necessities to Mongolia, Russia, and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. It will also build a production and processing center for high-end green and organic agricultural and livestock products.
The logistics center will also import Mongolian copper powder and engage in bonded warehousing, cashmere financial pledges, and the bonded warehousing and display of cross-border e-commerce commodities. It will also support the operations of China-Europe agricultural freight trains, promote the construction of a globally-oriented agricultural and livestock export and processing industrial cluster and modern logistics system.
