Baotou Airport adds two more air routes

Baotou Donghe Airport launched a direct Baotou-Wuhan flight and a Baotou-Handan-Shanghai Pudong flight on March 31, according to the Baotou Daily.

A number of the Baotou-Wuhan flights are operated by China Express on a CRJ900 aircraft, and are scheduled to fly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They depart Baotou at 10:20 and arrive in Wuhan at 12:15. The return leg departs Wuhan at 13:05 and lands in Baotou at 15:10.

The remaining flights are being operated by Air China using an Airbus 320, and depart every day except Friday. They depart Wuhan at 15:35 and arrive in Baotou at 17:30. The return leg departs Baotou at 18:35 and lands in Wuhan at 20:35.

The tickets are being sold at discounts, with the cheapest costing 330 yuan ($49.16), and the discounts will continue for a short period after the launch of the flight.

The Baotou-Handan-Shanghai Pudong flight is operated by China Eastern on an Airbus 320. It is scheduled to fly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The flight on Monday and Friday departs Baotou at 19:00, and stops in Handan at 16:55, before finally reaching Shanghai Pudong at 23:05. The return flight takes off from Shanghai Pudong at 14:10, departs Handan at 16:55 and lands in Baotou at 18:15.

The flight on Wednesday and Sunday departs Baotou at 19:45, and stops in Handan at 21:10, before arriving at Shanghai Pudong at 23:50. The return flight takes off in Shanghai Pudong at 14:40, departs Handan at 17:30 and lands in Baotou at 18:55.
