Shanghai Railway Station

Located on Moling Road in Jing'an District, next to Shanghai Long-distance Bus Terminal, Shanghai Railway Station is often referred to as the 'New Passenger Station' to distinguish it from the old North Railway Station. It undertakes the receiving and dispatching of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed trains and ordinary trains bound for the north of the Yangtze River.

Shanghai station is one of the four major railway stations in Shanghai and one of the most important railway hubs in China. It is located to the north of the downtown area. 

The station consists of a two-floor terminal building and two squares, one in the south, and the other in the north. The two squares are connected by an underground passage. The Exit & Entry Administration Service Center for passengers traveling to and from Hong Kong is on the first floor.

Bus stops are available in both the south and north squares. The exits and entrances for Metro Line 1 are in the south square while the exits and entrances for line 3 and line 4 are in the north. Taxi stands are easy to find near the metro entrances.
