Helping boost the overall educational standards of the capital of northern China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region was on the agenda – as Hohhot municipal government and a high school affiliated to Minzu University of China signed a partnership agreement in Hohhot on March 31.
The two sides agreed to found a public branch school in Hohhot, they hope could lead to bigger things.
Bu Xiaolin, chairwoman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Ai Lihua, vice-president of the region and Yun Guangzhong, secretary of CPC Hohhot municipal committee, joined the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, the high school will provide support for teacher training and pedagogical research in Hohhot in order to boost education standards in the city.
The two parties pledged to fulfill all the obligations stipulated in the agreement and spare no effort in helping the branch school become a leading school in the region.
