A delegation of Chinese-Americans attended a matchmaking conference held by local authorities of Yinzhou district, Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on March 29 to discuss cooperation.
The delegation members are from the 128 Chinese Union of Technology Enterprises in Boston, the United States, a non-profit organization for technology startups.
The union consists of Chinese business executives, entrepreneurs, highly-skilled technicians, investors, and experienced professionals in engineering, applied sciences, marketing, sales, law, finance, accounting, and human resources.
It aims to build a business network between China and the United States, boosting business growth and supporting business activities on both sides.
Officials from Yinzhou introduced the district's overall situation, investment climate and talent and technology policies, and stressed the district's urgent need for high-level talents and business projects.
Representatives from the union briefed Yinzhou authorities on the 13 projects they intended to bring to the district and shared their ideas on cooperation.
The projects focus mainly on electronic information, equipment manufacturing and artificial intelligence, some of which have applied world-class cutting-edge technologies.
