Air route launched to link Guiyang, Wuzhou, Chongqing

The Guiyang-Wuzhou-Chongqing air route was launched on March 31 as a Colorful Guizhou Airlines aircraft stopped over at Wuzhou Xijiang Airport at 11:20 am.

Previously, it would take nearly seven hours to travel between Guiyang, Guizhou province to Wujiang, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region by bullet train. The new air route shortens the distance to about one hour.

The GY7101/2 flights are slated to operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The former departs from Guiyang at 10:05 am and arrives in Wuzhou and Chongqing at 11:20 am and 1:40 pm respectively. The latter leaves Chongqing at 2:40 pm, and lands in Wuzhou and Guiyang at 4:15 pm and 6:10 pm respectively. 

The price for tickets between Wuzhou and Guiyang could be as low as 199 yuan ($30), while tickets between Wuzhou and Chongqing is from 299 yuan up during the promotional period.
