Taiyuan Aquatic Sports Center, a major venue for aquatic sports events of the second Youth Games of China, recently completed its construction.
The sports center, which cost 147 million yuan ($21.90 million), covers an area of 60 hectares along the Fenhe River.
Equipped with a tower marking finish line, a media center, a timing tower and a doping testing center, the facility boasts a 300-spectator capacity stand.
Rowing, canoeing, dragon boating, and stand-up paddling events will be held at the center during the second Youth Games of China in Taiyuan in August and September.
