Transport at Xiamen Port

Xiamen Port was open to service in 1843, and is located in Xiamen and Zhangzhou cities in Fujian province.

By March 2018, the port had launched 135 container marine lines, including 79 international ones and 44 to countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. It has built 166 productive berths, of which 76 are for ships over 100,000 deadweight tons. The port allows an annual cargo throughput of 178 million tons and an annual container throughput of 10.33 million TEUs.

   1) Adult passengers who buy full-fare tickets can have free passage for a child under the age of 2 (no extra berth available).

   2) Children between 2 and 12 years old can have a half-price discount.

   3) The elderly, the disabled and students with valid certificate can have a 40 percent discount.

   4) Buying a round-trip ticket can have a 10 percent discount.
