Chinese, South Korean youth plant trees in IM desert

An aerial photo shows over 200 young Chinese and South Korean volunteers planting trees in the Kubuqi desert in Dalad Banner, Ordos, a city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on March 31. Since 2006, the China Youth Center for International Exchange and the South Korean-China Cultural and Youth Association have arranged for young volunteers from China and South Korea to plant trees in the Kubuqi Desert to slow desertification and sand fixation.
