The Inner Mongolia branch of China Mobile launched the region's first 5G industry digital alliance in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on March 28.
During the launch ceremony, China Mobile signed letters of intent with 32 companies representing eight different industry fields.
A representative from Huawei, the leading global provider of information and communications technology, delivered a speech on the development of 5G technology.
It is thought that the new alliance will be significant in promoting the integration of big data, artificial intelligence, and the internet, laying a solid foundation for the development of Inner Mongolia's digital economy.
The advantages of high speed, low delay and brand bandwidth of 5G network will promote the realization of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent life and the digital transformation of industries.
Following the launch ceremony, an exhibition was held to demonstrate 5G, Internet of Things, big data, cloud service and government, education, medical and other eight industry solutions.
Furthermore, the exhibition displayed a number of 5G industry applications, and allowed attendees to experience a variety of innovative applications of digital technology.
