An education exchange event was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 26. During the event, 14 schools from throughout Guizhou and Hong Kong signed agreements to cooperate in the future.
The United Front Work Department of Guizhou and the Education Department of Guizhou first began seeking educational cooperation with Hong Kong in 2015.

Seventy-five schools from throughout Guizhou and Hong Kong have paired up to increase student and teacher exchanges, thereby promoting the development of education in Guizhou.
The partnered schools will cooperate in school operation, teaching seminars, and exchanges of teachers, students and parents. During vacations, students from both Guizhou and Hong Kong will participate in artistic exchanges, sports competitions, debates, and workshops.
