A grand flower show featuring tulips kicked off in Changsha, Hunan province providing a new attraction for local residents and tourists. A total of 700,000 tulip plants with 50 different varieties at Hunan Forest Botanical Garden are recently at full blossom. The show, which will last for a month, has been held for 10 years and attracts tourists inside and outside the province to catch a glimpse of the colorful sea of tulips.

Full blossom: March 20 to April 25

Opening hours: 7:30-18:00 in summer; 7:30-17:30 in winter

Ticket price: 20 yuanfor adults; 10 yuan for students and the elderly
