How to get to Pingtan

Pingtan Strait Bridge between Fuqing city, Fuzhou, Fujian province, and Pingtan, was put into operation after three years construction on Nov 30, 2010. The operation of the bridge, which is 4,976 meters long, ended the situation of people only being able to take ferries to Pingtan.

Currently Pingtan has one bus station. If you want to buy bus fares online, you can choose Pingtan Bus Station.

Pingtan has no high-speed railway station yet; the nearest one is Fuqing Railway Station in Fuqing city. It may take you 90 minutes to travel from Pingtan and Fuqing Railway Station by car.
