A photography exhibition named "Path to Harmony" opened at the Wuxi Library on March 23, featuring the history of international relations and the development of Sino-US relations with over 80 rare pictures.
The exhibition, which will run until April 14, is sponsored by the Wuxi Municipal People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the US Consulate General in Shanghai.

Marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the US, the exhibition was made up of various parts such as "Official Exchange", "Sharing Knowledge", "Cultural Perception" and "Military Cooperation".
Xu Ruiyu, deputy chairman of the association for friendship with foreign countries, said that it is the city's honor to hold the meaningful exhibition.
"Wuxi city in East China's Jiangsu province and Washington in the US are both known for breathtaking views of cherry blossoms in spring. As the Wuxi International Cherry Blossom Week will open tomorrow, such cultural activities are expected to enrich regional characteristics and add to the cultural connotations of the grand event."
Gao Baoling, director of the Public Affairs Office of the US Consulate General in Shanghai, attended the opening ceremony and said she hopes every Wuxi resident will enjoy these rare photos which express exchange, communication and cooperation between China and the US.
