A business delegation made up of government officials and enterprise representatives from East China's Zhejiang province attended a matchmaking event in Nordrhein-Westfalen, a state in western Germany on March 15 to seek commercial exchanges and cooperation.
The delegation, led by Wang Jian, deputy director of Zhejiang's commerce department, had face-to-face talks with German companies, governmental departments, commercial associations and intermediary agents to push forward the bilateral ties between the regions to a new level.
Wang introduced the industrial advantages and business environment of Zhejiang to the German attendants, saying the province is striving to develop its digital economy, build a new trade center, open up new trade channels and improve its administrative services.
"We hope to share development opportunities with German investors and join hands with them to develop Zhejiang," said Wang.
