Shenfu New Zone hones admin approval efficiency

The administrative approval efficiency of Shenfu New Zone has significantly improved since 2018 in the wake of a new processing center starting up, according to Wang Hejin, director of the Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau of the Shenyang New Zone on March 13.

The Administrative Service Center of Shenfu New Zone is the first government service center in Liaoning province with approval authority at provincial, municipal and district level. 

It started trial operations on Aug 30, 2018, opening 27 service counters and having 41 examination and approval authorities involving tax, firefighting, social security, banking, official seals and business registration.

Administrative approval procedures in Shenfu News Zone were simplified after the new center started operating, providing much-needed convenience and saving time for applicants.

According to a new work schedule, the time taken processing business license applications was shortened to 30 minutes, the time for providing official seals was reduced to 2.5 hours, tax information collection and the application of invoices were shortened to 2 hours, and approval of industrial construction projects can now be completed within 30 working days.

Meanwhile, all the procedures for starting a business can be completed in one working day.

"It's really a surprise to be able to finish the procedures in a day," said Li Li, a businesswoman registering her business at the administrative service center on March 13.
