Guangxi Power Grid Co Ltd

Guangxi Power Grid Co Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid Co Ltd. Founded in September 1990, it is responsible for supplying electricity to the entire Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and is also involved in the west-east electricity transmission project.

It has 20 functional departments and 42 subordinate organizations, including 14 district power supply bureaus. Occupying a power supply area of 236,700 square kilometers, the company offers electricity to more than 11.42 million households.

Guangxi Power Grid ranked fifth among the top 100 enterprises in Guangxi in 2018. It has also ranked first in the customer satisfaction poll in the province for five consecutive years. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), the company has signed strategic cooperation agreements to promote innovative development and informatization construction.

In the first half of 2018, its total electricity consumption was 790 billion kilowatt-hours with a year-on-year increase of 19.95 percent. In addition, its operation revenue in 2018 reached 55.2 billion yuan ($8.23 billion).
