Marine biomedical industry

Zhejiang Zhoushan Marine Food and Biomedical Joint Experimental Center was established in 2013. The experimental center mainly conducts research on seafood processing and quality control, and applied research on marine active substances in the field of biomedicine. It has become the technology backup for the development of Zhoushan marine biomedical industry. It is also reported that four other marine life projects in Zhoushan have qualified to receive political and financial support from the central government.
