6. Introducing skilled workforce
There are seven supportive policies provided for skilled workforce that have been introduced into Jilin province.
For those who have signed formal employment contracts with their employer for more than 5 years, five types of relocation subsidies covering 2 million yuan ($298,056), 1.2 million yuan, 600,000 yuan, 300,000 yuan, and 30,000 to 100,000 yuan will be given according to their different levels and types.
For foreign skilled workers recruited by domestic enterprises, they can apply for multiple entries within 5-10 years. For those who are staying less than 180 days in China at a time, the dispatching fee for their visa will also be waived.
Jilin will also lend a hand to pillar industries and emerging industries across the province, supporting colleges and universities in setting up distinctive industrial-related professions, mainly focusing on smart manufacturing, new energy, new materials, winter tourism, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, web security, big data, general aviation, pensions, bio-medicine, nursing, and pediatrics.
In addition, the province will also implement an innovative training model for school-enterprise cooperation in the fields of the service trade sector, and jointly build training bases with proper training programs for the province.
