Jinshan adds more greenery, finishes landscape projects

Jinshan district added 327,000 square meters of greenery and more than 10,000 square meters of vertical plants in 2018, equaling to the size of 48 standard soccer fields in total, according to statistics.

In addition, the suburban district also finished the setting up of greenways along the Hangzhou Bay Avenue with a total length of 16.1 kilometers.

In addition, Jinshan recently completed two landscape projects along its main roads – one at the crossing of North Weiling Road and Caolang Highway and the other at the crossing of Longhao Road and Mingwei Road.

The landscape at the crossing of North Weiling Road and Caolang Highway, with a total area of 126,000 square meters, was completed at the end of February. And the other one at the crossing of North Weiling Road and Caolang Highway, with an 18,900-square-meter area, was completed at the end of last year.

"Residents can fly kites, play with their pets and even set up tents to enjoy themselves," Wu Yuying, senior engineer of the Jinshan Gardening Institute, said.
