International agricultural expo to open in Hohhot

The 24th Inner Mongolia International Agricultural Expo will be held at the Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on March 15-17.

The event, initiated by the association for the promotion of regional development and research, will be organized by regional departments for agriculture and animal husbandry, water resources, and forestry and grassland.

It is reported that the expo will be divided into six areas for agricultural materials, financial services and forestry products. It aims to inject new vitality into Inner Mongolia agricultural and animal husbandry development.

With a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, the expo is expected to welcome more than 700 enterprises in agriculture, forestry and water industries.

The expo will set 1,200 booths, including 86 for high-tech products and 420 for patented technology products.

The 3rd Inner Mongolia Forest Products Expo will also be held during the same period.
