Manbang Group, China's largest Uber-like freight service provider, inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation with Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone on March 10 in Guiyang.
Based on the MOU, Manbang Group will establish an intelligent logistics data base, which will consist of the Group's basic data center, data disaster preparedness center, telecommunications center, and shared services center, in Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone.
As the world's largest intelligent logistics platform, Manbang has a wide range of logistics services and data sources including matching empty truck with loads, truck selling, electronic toll collection, and insurance.
"Based on big data technology, Manbang will build a brand new intelligent logistics data base with the government," said Zhang Hui, CEO of Manbang. "We will also participate in Guiyang's 'big data city' establishment through more investment on big data technology."
In addition, Guiyang, known as China's Data Valley, has ramped up efforts on integrating cutting-edge technology in the real economy and smart city establishment in recent years.
