Ordos Central Hospital made it onto the annual list of China’s top 100 hospitals, according to rankings released at the second Beijing Forum on Hospital Management, in Beijing, on March 10.
The hospital opened in 1950 and since then has become a top national healthcare provider, rated Class-lll Grade-A –– the highest national rating. It offers comprehensive medical services, as well as conducting training and research.
It is also home to Inner Mongolia Medical University Clinic and Medicine College as well as an ultrasonic medical education center for the American Jefferson Ultrasonic Medical Research Institute.
The hospital provides coverage for people across Inner Mongolia, as well as surrounding areas, with people choosing the healthcare provider based on its reputation for excellence.
Divided into the Kangbashi division and Dongsheng division, the hospital covers an area of 277,000 square meters, with a total floor space of 256,800 square meters. There are 75 clinical departments and 24 administrative offices. At present, it contains 1,200 patient beds and receives more than one million outpatients on an annual basis.
