Yuhuangding Park
Yuhuangding Park, situated in the southern part of Yantai's city center, has an elevation of 72 meters. The mountain boasts surprisingly beautiful landscapes, and is renowned as "little Penglai", which is a county-level city in Yantai regarded as a “Fairyland on Earth”. Splendid sea views can be also seen from the mountaintop.
The park got its name from Yuhuang Temple. The temple was first established in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) and expanded and renovated in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing dynasties.
