'Shanghai Hour' at London Book Fair

Shanghai Century Publishing Group launched the Shanghai Hour activity at the ongoing London Book Fair at the British capital's Olympia Center on Wednesday, announcing that the group plans to release 50 new books to the global market with international copyrights every year.

The series of Shanghai Hour-themed activities include talks between top executives, business parleys, copyright introductions and exhibition of heavyweight books.

During the Shanghai Hour, the group launched 50 books with international copyrights on the global market. At the Frankfurt Book Fair last fall, the group also introduced 50 new books with international copyrights during the Shanghai Morning-themed activity.

Founded in February 1999, Shanghai Century Publishing (Group) Co Ltd is the first publishing group in China as well as one of the first pilot units for the reform of the national cultural system. The group is a comprehensive large-scale publishing media enterprise integrating publication of books and journals, digital publishing, copyright trade, import and export of books, printing and art business.
