A Shenyang-headquartered business recently won an export order worth more than 20 million yuan ($2.98 million) from Lear Corporation — the world's fifth biggest auto parts supplier, with a ranking of 148 on the renowned Fortune 500 list.
The supply contract is to provide automated equipment for seat welding and fixtures designs for a newly-developed vehicle model.
"The deal was signed in February and all equipment needs to be delivered in August," said Han Bin, vice manager of Shenyang Han's Setwin Robot Co Ltd.
Located in Shenyang Sino-Germany High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, the company specializes in providing system solutions for high-tech industrial robot application engineering, and fixtures and automated production lines for automotive manufacturing and other industrial production areas.
The Shenyang company was chosen as the equipment supplier for its good equipment production capacity, advanced design methods and scientific management, according to Lear Corporation's field inspectors.
By 2018, relying on its own project research and development team, the Shenyang group had secured 12 utility model patents and 18 computer software copyrights. In 2017, the company's annual income exceeded 100 million yuan.
