The Tianta Lion Dance performance is staged during a shehuo show in Taosi village, March 8. The Tianta (Heavenly Tower) Lion Dance, which originated during the Sui (581-618) and Tang (618-907) dynasties, is full of vigor and surprising sudden moves on towering scaffolds.
