Shanxi University to strengthen foreign partnerships

A delegation led by Jin Yunyan, deputy director of Shanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, visited Shanxi University on March 5.

The two sides discussed the university's efforts to build links with foreign partners at a seminar, reaching a consensus to hold an international culture festival, as well as developing special disciplines and long-term and regular Sino-foreign programs.

Zhou Xiaoji, vice-president of Shanxi University, said that he wanted to further links with the association to improve the university's openness to the outside world based on the association’s resources and ties.

Jin Yunyan claimed that the association would help Shanxi University organize exchange visits with universities in sister cities across Shanxi province.
