Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway
Construction of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway will start this year. The rail line will run through Guangzhou, Foshan, Yunfu, Yangjiang, and Maoming before terminating in Zhanjiang, stretching 412.65 km.
The railway is designed to support a maximum speed of 350 km per hour, faster than that of the current Jiangmen-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway. Once put into operation, it will allow people to travel from Zhanjiang and Yangjiang to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 60 to 90 minutes.
