Horinger New Area reviewed the work of last year and set forth big plans for 2019 during an annual work meeting held in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on March 6.
Luo Qing, director of the management committee of the Horinger New Area, said at the meeting that Horinger has moved forward greatly in improving its infrastructure and promoting its industrial growth and opening-up.
He told the meeting that the area will strive to develop its strategic emerging industries and high-level industrial cluster, as well as and push ahead with the introduction and construction of major programs this year.
Horinger will attract more investment and establish a platform to integrate online and offline cross-border e-commerce, for building an innovation-driven industrial system, Luo added.
The meeting also asked the government to advance the construction of infrastructure programs, to help improving the living environment for local residents.
