Rare earths body in the spotlight

The Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths, the biggest research and development organization for rare earth technology in China, was recently chosen as one of the country’s leading 26 industrial technology public service platforms, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Industry and Informational Technology.

The institute was recognized for its outstanding industrial technology foundation public service platform testing.

The body carries out research into key technologies such as reliability test verification, standards verification, measurements and testing, certification and comprehensive analysis. In addition, it develops test methods, establishes measurement standards instruments, builds transfer source systems, develops related equipment, and provides related services.
