4. Longhu Wetland

Longhu Wetland of Queshan Mountain is 14 kilometers away from downtown Jinan. With weeping willows and gurgling streams, the wetland is a great place for fishing and barbecue.

5. Jinxiuchuan Reservoir

Jinxiuchuan Reservoir is located in the upper reaches of Yufu River in the southern mountainous area of Jinan and is close to the Maple Valley Scenic Area. 

In spring, you can enjoy flowers, climb mountains and go fishing in the reservoir, which makes it one of the best places for barbecue among local residents. 

You can choose the Yuexing Self-drive Theme Camp for accommodation. It's near the Maple Valley Scenic Area and is the first camp with the theme of self-drive in Jinan.

Self-drive route: Drive southward along the No 103 provincial highway and turn left after the Zhonggong Bridge.
