Harbin in Heilongjiang province is continuing to roll out free WiFi services at its scenic spots, in order to bring its tourist attractions up to modern standards.
Information from Harbin culture, radio, film and television bureau reveals that all the highest-rated scenic spots in Harbin now enjoy full WiFi coverage, including one 5A-level scenic spot and 26 4A-level scenic spots.
Free WiFi is important to many tourists, giving them the ability to quickly upload photos and videos of their visits to social media platforms.
Harbin Central Avenue, Sun Island scenic area and Yabuli Ski Resort Area were among the first batch of scenic spots to provide the service.
Some of the city's lower-rated scenic spots, including Wenmiao Temple, Nangang Exhibition Center, Harbin Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park, Dingxiang Island Ecological Park, Harbin Binjiang Wetland Scenic Area and Shuangcheng Auto Museum, now also offer free WiFi services to visitors.
